With most of our facilities on site, Homerton is easy to navigate and most things are just a short walk away! Nevertheless, we do have a reputation for being a friendly college, so if you’re lost or are looking for something, do ask around to get some help.

The Mary Allan Building is probably one of the most important at Homerton, as it is home to the Porter’s Lodge (the Plodge) that is normally your starting point for any queries about Homerton life you may have. It also houses the Auditorium, library, music rooms and seminar rooms. Queens Wing contains the common rooms and the pigeonholes, as well as the new gym. The Cavendish building is home to the Buttery, admin offices (including the Accommodation and Finance offices), and the IT department and computer suite (which is open 24/7). The Great Hall is where meals are served and where formals are held during term time. Harrison House is a large purpose-built residence for graduate students at Homerton, and is situated adjacent to the playing field, orchard, and car park at the bottom of Harrison Drive. Morley House is the newest addition to Homerton, and will house the majority of MCR members. It also houses the new Middle Common Room.
Homerton is about 25 mins walk or 10 mins bike ride from town, about 10 mins from the train station, and 5 mins from the Cambridge Leisure Centre complex.
